Underwater Explorer Vessel The Underwater Explorer II is constructed in aluminium and was built in 1993 by Wavemaster International. A beautifully designed vessel, with a seating capacity of 50 in the carpeted viewing lounge, and an overall carrying capacity of 72.

The vessel is fully air-conditioned and has a spacious outer deck with seating and BBQ entertainment area. The Underwater Explorer II has a hydraulically driven bow thruster and a single main engine of 210 horse power which allows the vessel to cruise comfortably at around 8 knots. With an overall length of 23 meters and a 1.5 meter draft, the Underwater Explorer II is the largest semi-submersible vessel in the Southern Hemisphere.
